386BSD comes with IDA Sendmail. To GENERATE your sendmail.cf you write
a small (usually less than 10 lines) m4 configuration file (look in
/usr/src/usr.sbin/sendmail/cf/cf for ideas) and then run 'make' on that
configuration (see the README in that dir for an explanation).

sendmail.cf hacking is only for those who have serious problems with
routing (ok - I freely admit I am one of those - but I am one of the
UUCP hubs in the Uk, and I am not running my routing on 386BSD).
