Facinating. I too lost a job because I strongly believed in what
I was doing. I have no regrets in what I did. But was I right?

Willing, no! It's not the lawyers' driving this. It's managment at USL.
I was working at AT&T when the SVR3 license came out and I too got
abused by the outside world. I'm not saying that managment was
right or wrong but I am saying they could have handled the problems
a whole lot differently and definitely a whole lot better.

Failure to resolve the SVR3 licensing issues resulted in OSF
and the "UNIX Wars" The consequences of the BSDI suit, may
be far more serious.
