After heeding the consule of a multitude, i have abandoned
the thought of writng/porting 3c501 device drivers. Instead i spent
the better part of a day haggling with sales friend of mine and traded him
2 3c501's and a six pack of guiness stout for 2 SMC 8013ewc ethercard +
elite combo (i think that's what they are called) they have the
WD chipset, with AUI, BND and RJ45 connectors. i understand they are
good cards.

anyway, do drivers for these cards currently exist?
