Could someone that is fairly familiar with SLIP and Inet configuration for
386BSD please contact me either on this group or through email? I am having
problems getting my 386BSD box to connect to the network and send packets over
the serialy line, even tho I have set the files up to the best of my knowledge.
I use kermit to connect and start the slip server, then I suspend that process
and slattach, then the ifconfig part and attempt to telnet, but it can neither
resolve a name, nor connect to a numerical address because it doesn't send any
packets over the serial line (I watched the modem lights) .... to whoever does
respond, thanks in advance!
