What kind of hard drive do you have, precisely? There are several drivers
available for several controllers, as well as a series of methods for dealing
with other controllers. For example, a driver to make the ST-01 card has been
found to work with 386bsd, if I understand correctly. I have an Ulstrstor24F
card running in my system (in ISA mode), and many other people have many
strange cards running in theirs.

Conjecture here, but probably the one in your dorm room? :-)

Personal Pet Peeve: I find 'Thanks in advance' to be very rude. It presumes
that everyone that is going to read your post will respond. My preference is
something along the lines of 'Thanks for your time', or 'Thanks for reading
this' . Just a random thought.

If you have an Ultrastor 24F and want it to work with 386bsd, please E-Mail
me and I will be glad to let you know precisely what you need to do to get
your system working.
