When booting my 386-40, 8Meg PC clone using the TinyBSD diskette,
the boot process hangs just following the changing root device to
fd0a message. It works fine using my Conner 170 Meg drive. The
model number on the WD drive is WD95044A. Does anyone have a clue
as to what would be causing this? It boots MS-Dog just fine, but when
I insert the TinyBSD floppy, it hangs at the afore mentioned point. I
didn't realy feel like partitioning my Conner before doing a quick
evaluation using the Western Digital drive. Any help would be greatly
appreciated before I dive into the source. So much for quick evaluations. :)

Thanx,
