Yeah 32V. We (ie. people I worked with 5 years _before_ I joined
Digital) did a lot of good stuff with 32V. Turned it into the fastest
780 on the face of the planet after a lot of good work by a handful
of people, over a few years. In those days, computers were _computers_.

I added copy-on-write into 32V, so can I claim that USL have stolen
_my_ intellectual property with their _pitiful_ attempts in V.[234]?

I guess I could, as long as I could pay the lawyer's fees.

Anyway, any information you could glean from System V would only
server as object lessons in how _not_ to write operating systems;
perhaps USL's lawyers realise this too...

* Now before we all go crazy and say ``oh, he works for Digital''
  I should state that my eclectic set of beliefs stem from my
  stance on what is good and what is not.
