Has anyone had problems with cksum errors when downloading the dist sets to an IBM RS/6000? I downloaded all three dist sets from a couple different sites (agate and gatekeeper) and get a cksum error on EVERY file when running dcksum < MANIFEST. Is the cksum command under AIX [3.2 I believe] operating on a different algorithm, or, as a friend suggested, are all IBM machines just evil? -Brian P.S. I downloaded the rawrite and dist.fs files and created my bootable, and all works fine. Also, Yes, I did use ftp in binary mode.
