  I was at the spring Interop, where a stagefull of PC-droids tried
to convince a roomfull of experienced computer centre directors
that their favorite version of non-interoperable PC mail was the
right answer for the whole world.

  They got shouted at, laughed at and described in uncomplimentary terms
by a bunch of suits.
  They took notice.

  Mind you, one company just started an advertizing campaign agains
interoperability, but they **did** notice.  

  And no-one was asked to leave: after all, we **were** the paying customers.
