What do I need? Message-ID: <7111@tuegate.tue.nl> Date: 23 Jan 93 14:26:20 GMT Sender: root@tuegate.tue.nl Organization: MCGV Stack, Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands. Lines: 18 X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.1 PL6] I want to buy a computer and run UNIX on it. The unix I'm gonna run must be nice and stable. I consider taking BSD386 as it is in public domain now, and as it is much more stable than e.g. Linux. I want to run 2 slip links on it to other machines. As I'm a student, my budget is minimal, and just enough for a 486DX33 system. Tell me, what config should I buy? Thanks! --Ramon -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ramon Kolb | ramon@stack.urc.tue.nl (internet) Tristan on IRC (PA3EUG) | sysop@pa3eug.ampr.org (amprnet) Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands disclaimer: if you don't agree: consider "void message(void)" =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Quote of the day: "Real programmers use: COPY CON PROGRAM.EXE"
