I'm looking for a new graphics system (graphics card and
monitor) for my new 386BSD-system. I heard something about
an X-Server for S3-cards i'm very interested in.

My questions on this topic are :

- how stable ist XS3 for 386BSD ?
- what about the performance relative to a ET4000 card (e.g.
  Diamond Speedstar+ )
- Are there more newsgroups I could ask ?

I need a stable system and can't afford to make too much
experiments with X.

Is it better to choose a fast ET4000 than a S3 ?

Thanx
