When creating a backup with tar a verify fails. Tar tells me 'tar: Skipping to next file header' a few times and then stops with an unexpected EOF. I created a big tar image on disk and copied it with dd if=image of=/dev/rwt0. This can be read from tar. Cpio works correct, too. Has somebody a hint for this bug? regards Frank -- Frank Nobis fn@irb.informatik.uni-dortmund.de Univ. Dortmund, IRB Tel. +49 231 755 2106 Postfach 500500 D-4600 Dortmund
