I am trying to set up a dialin terminal at 8N1, and I am simply
stumped. I have been over the manual for gettytab, getty, stty, termios
and friends and I see no way to get it to really do 8N1, I *don'* mess
with setting any of the parity settings in gettytab this means I should
use NO parity right? and I simply don't see a setting for setting up
cs8 in gettytab. I do know where all these settings are in stty and
have successfully used them but all my fullscreen applications shit me
back to 7E1. is there any solution to this? should I just give up and
put my tail between by legs and let bsd have the terms the way *it*
likes them?

  any help MUCH appreciated!
