With respect to RAMDACs and the  Actix GraphicEngine line including the
forthcoming 928 based from Actix, they use the AT&T 20C491-11 RAMDAC.

Can anyone tell us if this RAMDAC going to be adequate for 16 bit and
24 bit plane operations ? For instance, does it introduce memory wait
states for 16bit or 24bit operations as alluded in a previous posting
that some RAMDAC do..
