Hi *,

I know SLIP is a big word. But, I have little knowledge about it.
In the very near future, I'll buy a new 14.4 modem. And certainly,
I want to give SLIP a try. So, here are the questions:

1. Which modem, in your opinion, is the best buy? Please provide
brand name and model number if any. I need a stable modem
which can make me run in 386bsd/DOS/OS/2.

2. What is SLIP? Where can I get the binaries for 386bsd 0.1?
What can SLIP give me? I also heard something about xremote.
    What is it?

I'll post a summary in two weeks if there are suff. interests.
Thanks!!
