But, I have little knowledge about it. In the very near future, I'll buy a new 14.4 modem. And certainly, I want to give SLIP a try. So, here are the questions: 1. Which modem, in your opinion, is the best buy? Please provide brand name and model number if any. I need a stable modem which can make me run in 386bsd/DOS/OS/2. 2. What is SLIP? Where can I get the binaries for 386bsd 0.1? What can SLIP give me? I also heard something about xremote. What is it? I'll post a summary in two weeks if there are suff. interests.
