I had a similar problem last night---I was running NT on my machine, and had a 280MB C: partition, and a 46MB NTFS E: extended partition. When I tried to use fdisk to get rid of the NTFS partition, it told me that it couldn't remove the logical drive because none existed, but that it couldn't remove the Extended partition because there was a logical drive in it. I couldn't get NT up and running again because I screwed it up, so I ended up telling BSD to take the whole drive, and then rebooting with a DOS disk and running fdisk then. Screwy, a pain in the ass, but it worked. Toodlepip!
