I think I solved it by: 1. making a d: partition which covers the entire drive. 2. making the e: partition as you've done. 3. changing the partitions: line to 5 (dunno if this is necessary) 4. saved the file temporarily to /tmp (so I can :r the file into vi the next time I try it with slightly different parameters cause you KNOW the bloody thing is going to give you that "Warning, unused partition" most of the time. :) 5. exit the editor and if it doesn't work, kinda fiddled some more.
