I want to install 386BSD on a harddisk with the following partititions: 40Meg DOS Primary 60Meg OS/2 Primary 208Meg 386BSD Primary 1MB Bootmanager from OS/2 If I try this and have bootmanager installed at the end of the disk and the 208MB as free, 386BSD says that there is no room in the partitition table When I remove the bootmanager I can install 386BSD as I want it but I'm unable to get the BSD running, It starts up as normal (finds com ports, video, & HD controller) after that it writes a two line message that something is wrong and boots immediately after that, I'm unable to read the error message even when the turbo is out. This is my machine configuration: 486DX 50MHz ISA motherboard with 16MB RAM ET4000 Local Bus VGA UltraStor 12F ESDI controller 2* 330MB Maxtor ESDI drives The install works well if I let 386BSD use the whole first disk. -- ___________________________________________________________ ( Martin Nilsson Studying Computer Sciences & Technology at ) \ Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden / \ Sysop FidoNet node 2:200/409 & 410 / \_____________________________________________________/
