I'm using a software package on a Sun SPARCstation 1+/2 that prints monochrome images onto a special printer. The software package is called Electronic Light Table / 2 (ELT/2) and the printer is a Raytheon TDU-850. The ELT/2 software has the print command hard-coded within the application and the software will only print to that printer on parallel port 1 (i.e. pp1, the second parallel port on the system). My system only has one parallel port (pp0), so I am trying to figure out how I can create a "pseudo" device that would actually redirect the output from pp1 to pp0 (the real port). Buying a two parallel-port card isn't a possibility. I heard that Paragon (the company who produces ELT/2) is working on modifying their code so the output device would be user selectable. However, I do not know when that fix will be implemented or when I'd be able to upgrade the software. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Please send any e-mail to wdaniels@lynx.northeastern.edu Thanks a lot for you help!! -Bill
