That is the only step necessary - I just compiled the new kernel about 1/2 an hour ago. Just remember to increase the number of pty's in your system config file. You also need to define 'option UCONSOLE' in your kernel configuration file as well. This option allows the console error messages to be redirected to the console xterm (xterm -C). This applies to both patchkit-0.1 and patchkit-0.2. Rich
