Kind of a newbee's question but..What is the configuration of swapping when bsd is installed using the "whole disk" option from the "install" command which the boot disk offers? Is there a partition created and if so how big? Is there a command which gives the amount of remaining virtual memory. e.g. pstat under SunOS? Also, I really dont want to get into repartition my disk from scratch (I dont know how and really dont want to take the time to learn, but if I must, I will). SunOS offers an option which allows the system to swap on a file, but it seems that 386bsd dosent offer this? thanks, mike. -- ---------------------- Mike Christiansen Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory Controls Group 2550 Beckleymeade Ave. MS.4002 Dallas, TX. 75237 214-708-3415 christia@latenite.ssc.gov
