Message-ID: <C28LrJ.94M@nmrdc1.nmrdc.nnmc.navy.mil> Date: 10 Feb 93 14:33:18 GMT Organization: Naval Medical Research & Development Command Lines: 14 How does one run "bad144" from the Fixit bootable floppy? I am trying to salvage an old MFM drive, but can't get bad144 to run. Already ran disklabel and newfs, but "bad144 wd0 0" complains when run from the Fixit floppy, something about "label: ...". Do I need to mount /dev/wd0a prior to running "bad144"? How do I get this thing to run? Once I do, then I can install the bindist and read man pages like a normal user! -- ============================================================================== phil perucci | "Any opinions expressed are my views, dsc3pzp@nmrdc1.nmrdc.nnmc.navy.mil | not the position of any organization" ==============================================================================
