Hi!

I tried to boot 386bsd former but I didn't have enough space on my
200MB-CDC Drive to install it. It booted OK. Now I bought an 1.2GB
disk from IBM an had to change the Bios/MCode-eproms on my Adaptec
1542b-Controller to support disks > 1GB. Now, when I try to boot
from floppy to install 386bsd it stops after the message `changing
root device to fd0a'. I think it might be a Problem with the SCSI-
Driver which dosen't support the new Eproms on my Adaptec.

Did anyone else recognize this problem?

Adaptec 1542b updated with Bios/MCode > 1GB-Kit Vers. 3.20 1992
1,2GB IBM-disk 200MB CDC-disk

Thanks for your help
Stephan
