So take the time and port it to SysV.  It's not that difficult.  Hell,
I ported host to SVR3(ISC) a couple of years ago with absolutely 0
knowledge of BSD or SVR3.  I had it running in about 30 minutes.

[Before you ask, no I do not have it around anymore.  I'm playing
with SVR4 and BSD these days.]
