[If multiple copies of this appear, please exucse me, but the news reader
here is majorly blinking out right now ;-(]

I had 386bsd up and running happily on my machine, and then went and installed
an Adaptec 1542B SCSI Controller with 2 drives attached to it in my machine.

A reboot of the operating system crashed massively on the above mentioned
panic. I then figured I wouldn't mind re-installing the whole OS, so I put
in the Tiny 386bsd floppy (the patched one that fixes the flashings characters
and colors screen crash) and rebooted with it.

It detected BOTH my IDE Drives, the scsi controller, and the 170MB Quantum, but
then died.

Here's _sort_ of what it printed:

detected wd0 <maxtor LS 340A> wd1 <maxtor 7070AT> blah blah
as0 at 0x330 irq 11 (which is my adaptec at BIOS addr 330 int 11)
as0 attatched at target 0 <Quantum EPS170>
as0b illegal request routing fsbn0
scsi sense: 70 00 0 0 0 0 etc. 0 0 0 00 0 etc 0....
as0b illegal request routing fsbn0
scsi sense: 70 00 d00a a00 etc. blah blah blah
panic: kmem_malloc: kmem_map too small
Hit Reset Key.

Whud up...? Nowhere in the FAQ is this mentioned, and I couldn't find any
mention of this problem in the last 200 articles or so here.

How can I:

A> Get the system up and working PERIOD.
B> Get the system up and working with as many of the 4 disks as possible...?

Any help would be great. DOS is slowly driving me nuts.
