I've also installed cgd'scom driver. I've got a internal modem with a 16450 in it and it gives me a lot of silo overflows (at 9600). I do not care too much about the silo overflows but the problem is that slip seems to hang in the middle of a file transfer.. The curious thing is that if I do : stty -a </dev/com2 >/dev/null when FTP hangs, it resumes execution normally.. I have even written a shell script which keeps on doing the above command and and then FTP never hangs..:-) (though my PIDs are getting really large :-) :-) ) I must be doing something really silly!! Please would someone tell me what I'm doing worng...? Carlos Ruggiero e-mail: usp@jif.berkeley.edu or toto@uspfsc.ifqsc.usp.br
