Most of these patches are available in one form or the other in posting people have made before. The Neosoft crew just packaged them up in 'patchkit' format for easier installation. However, when I managed the patchkit, messing around with BAD patches was one of my worst nightmares, and since I don't even wish that on my worst enemy, I felt it would be best for those patches not to be distributed as 'patchkit' patches, since the repurcussions fixing those patches in the patchkit would be great. It is not, nor was not my intent to withold valuable work, but to keep a mess from getting out of hand. Tibor, people like you don't need the patchkit, and probably get very little use from it. Frankly, I prefer hand patching myself, but the patchkit helps to form a base of reference, which IMHO is a good thing. Before Terry started the patchkit, I had put a group of patches together in a directory with explanations of what each patch did. It worked, but not as well as the patchkit. I'm sorry if you feel offended by my actions, but I still feel the amount of damage that would've been done outweighs the benefits of the patch. Besides, these patches WILL be re-packaged into the proper format and re-distributed, when Jordan gets time. >If somebody else managed to download the patches before they got >deleted I would be very grateful if I could get a copy of it.
