Message-ID: <1993Feb16.205225.2553@usasoc.soc.mil> Sender: news@usasoc.soc.mil Organization: SRI International Date: Tue, 16 Feb 1993 20:52:25 GMT Lines: 17 Hello folks, Well I see the latest XFree86 is out, but after reading the announcement, I've still got a few questions. My problem is that I'm not intimately familiar with PC video hardware, so the listing of what chipsets are supported doesn't tell me too much (and if I look in _Computer Shopper_, or some other mag, I'll be lucky if they mention the chipset at all). Simple question: Are there any boards (manufacturer and model please!) that work with XFree86 on 386BSD that will give you a decent, non interlaced, low flicker at 1024*1280 on a 17-21" monitor (models here would be nice too!) Thanks, Ted Nolan ted@usasoc.soc.mil
