Did you re-compile the fdboot blocks fixed in the pathckit before
re-making your floppy?
cd /sys/i386/stand
make fdboot ( I think it works, if not you'll have to screw around
and see why not)
[ Insert the boot floppy ]
cp fdboot /dev/rfd0a
Reboot with the new boot floppy.
