Message-ID: <1993Feb22.022952.28879@coe.montana.edu> Sender: usenet@coe.montana.edu (USENET News System) Organization: CS Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1993 02:29:52 GMT Lines: 17 2 Zyxel 1496's (1 S model, attached to a decserver 700, 1 E model on a PC running 386BSD). DTE speeds are 38400. MTU size is 1006 (whatever that is). Doing an FTP, I'm getting only about 2.5K throughput. Are there parameters I can tweak in the modem or on my PC to get better throughput? Not that it's really critical, it's adequate for what I want, but I'm curious. Any tips/hints appreciated. -- Jaye Mathisen, COE Systems Manager (406) 994-4780 410 Roberts Hall,Dept. of Computer Science Montana State University,Bozeman MT 59717 osyjm@cs.montana.edu
