I feel bad and it is hard not to be angry at Nate for "giving us" the patchkit and then "taking it away from us." After he deleted files from a NeoSoft directory on ref without consulting us it became really, really hard to not be absolutely furious. Further, I think it really sucks that he would make those patches unavailable to everyone without getting them into "his" kit. But in a spirit of cameraderie with the net we are *not* going to try to usurp Nate's unilateral plan to pass his mantle on to Jordan. We will continue to study the issues, however, and I will not rule out our return at a future date when we have something righteous and superior to offer -- perhaps including an entirely new patchkit system -- or something simpler, like picking up unofficially in the face of a de facto abdication by the current crew.
