In addition, I am not intercepting console messages. I have re-compiled the kernal and I have made sure that the patches did what they were supposed to as well as making sure that I used the proper config (GENERICISA copied and edited slightly after patching). Are there any suggestions to fixing this? Are there more parts/programs that I have not yet re-compiled? This was a new build on a clean source tree straight from agate on Saturday. One last problem - the newvers stuff did not fix itself. I had to do a make newvers to get the kernal to finish compiling. I went back to re-compile the config source and I can not. I get the error: yacc: f - cannot open "y.tab.h" -Dave -- david@elwood.eeap.cwru.edu David Nerenberg 73107,177 CompuServe Electrical Engineering & Applied Physics NY: H-516-751-6344 Case Western Reserve University W-516-751-8111 W-216-368-2982 H-216-754-2085
