I have a patch for this, as well as a couple of other patches that make elvis look more like vi (at least, vi on Suns). I will post them tomorrow if at all possible. On a related note, has anyone but me experienced the problem of hitting 'dd' and having elvis erase the line *above* the one the cursor is on? Undoing it and redoing the 'dd' works. I haven't been able to discern any kind of special conditions that it occurs under, and since it's not too frequent I haven't gone a-hunting for it. Are any of you secretly hoarding a patch for this? :-) -- | Cloyce D. Spradling | cloyce@{ccwf.cc, cs}.utexas.edu | | No matter how you think, you're still only *simulating* logic! | ENTROPY! |
