You will need to apply the patchkit (preferably 0.2.1) and then recompile mountd. There is also a kernel patch which gets rid of some "access denied" errors which occur when you try to access files over an nfs link to a NFS server running 386BSD. (I'll send you the patch if you like.) If you have any other hassles getting nfs running, please let me know.
