Lines: 15 X-Disclaimer: Nyx is a public access Unix system run by the University of Denver for the Denver community. The University has neither control over nor responsibility for the opinions of users. I have a couple of questions. I am very new to UNIX and 386BSD so forgive me. >From my very, very, limited knowledge of unix, I know that printer port LPT1 is accessed through /dev/lp or /dev/lp0 (please correct me if I'm wrong). In the binary dist, there are no /dev/lp* drivers. How do I print to LPT1? Also, the printer is postscript, so my next question is, after I do finally figure out how to print to the port, how do I convert to ps? 2nd question: Is there a way possible to use my modem on com1 to call in from home and remotely use the system? later.
