Any BSDoid documentation will help. The system administration is pretty much different to System V, and most of the books out there are for System V, so make sure you don't get one of those. I don't know of anything recent. > Please forgive the ignorance of this question, but is there a way someone > could dialin to my computer through my 2400 baud modem, login and use the > system? Yes. You need to run a getty on that port. man ttytab man getty > Are there special drivers I must get? I don't have the disk space > to recompile the kernel, if that's required. That's required for a number of reasons, unless you're somehow running the latest patchkit. If you just installed the system, that's unlikely. If you have a the patched distribution floppy, you can mount it: mount /dev/fd0a /mnt and copy its kernel in for now: cp /mnt/386bsd /386bsd umount /mnt shutdown -r now -- Peter da Silva. <peter@sugar.neosoft.com>. `-_-' Oletko halannut suttasi tänään?
