Message-ID: <C2wp86.Axz@ns1.nodak.edu> Date: 23 Feb 93 14:50:30 GMT Article-I.D.: ns1.C2wp86.Axz Sender: usenet@ns1.nodak.edu (Usenet login) Organization: Intelligent Systems Cluster, NDSU Lines: 12 Nntp-Posting-Host: isc.cs.ndsu.nodak.edu I've been working to get my NE2000 compatible card to work properly with NFS mounts. I've searched postings to this group and found a patch by 'curt@toad.com' which I have applied to my sources. I've tried different rsize and wsize settings including the magic '4K' number all to no avail. When I try writing to an NFS-mounted file system my machine, for all intents and purposes, locks up. I get silo overflows if I move my mouse when running X. There are numerous isr 14 and isr 94 messages logged. What am I missing here? Is anyone successufully using NFS with an NE2000 card? If so, what have you done to get it working? Should I just throw away my card and get a WD card? Thanks!
