(both machines have WD8003 ethernet cards...) saying: ping -vfs 1024 126.8 will quickly (i.e. within 1000 packets transmitted) and consistently (as in, you do that 'ping' and the following will _always_ happen) reboot the machine. any ideas? chris -- Chris G.
