Message-ID: <C32ysp.L8M@stargate.np.ac.sg> Organization: Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Date: Sat, 27 Feb 1993 00:02:46 GMT Lines: 19 Hi. I've installed XFree86 1.1 (stock patched kernel) over stock 386bsd 0.1, and it has been running continuously for 3 weeks or so. Today I went away from my desk for about an hour, and when I came back I discovered that 386bsd has rebooted and is hung at the xdm command in rc.local. The machine is alive and responds to ping, but I am unable to login. Has anybody encountered this problem before? TIA. - PS -- Ng Pheng Siong == ngps@np.ac.sg == npngps@solomon.technet.sg Computer Centre, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore No .witty-saying yet!
