Date: Thu, 25 Feb 93 23:37:54 GMT Lines: 14 I am looking for a multivolume tar program that accepts standard input. What I am trying to do is: tar cvp * |compress| tar cvfLMp /dev/rfd0a 10240 - This obviously won't work because I can't make tar accept standard input. Is there a better way to do this. Will cpio work?
