People are changing 386bsd, some are not sharing their work with the net
at large. this has it good and bad points.
At Bill's last talk it was stated that people are sending him kernel
changes and suggestions, for sure some were never posted to the net.

Hopefully, comp.os.386bsd.development will help alleviate this problem.
So if someone post a suggestion, I suggest working with those willing
to create ideas. Comments like: "this is ugly or the problem is
difficult" are not technical (no offense intended here just wanted
to make a point) :-)

Many of Bill's articles in DDJ were guidelines as to what he would
like to see in 386bsd.

As for waiting for Bill to finish his release and functional changes,
the patchkit is an example that we don't have to wait for Bill to
release a kernel to change it. True, the patchkit had its problems
but we all learn along the way.

As for our own group, we suffer tremendously from BSDism.

Cheers,
Amancio
