G'day fellows,
I've got this question for those experts out there:
My setup is the following:
ISA 486 with 16bit ET4000 (old Diamond Speedstar + HighCol) and
some No-Name 8 bit Hercules Card.
Now, when I'm using MS-Doze, I know that the VGA switches to 8bit
mode as soon as the Hercules Card is found on the system. I have a sweet
little program (w/out source) that switches an ET4000 card to 16 or 8
bit bus width. I was wondering if my card uses the 16bit under 386bsd
if a 8bit Mono Card is present. If so, does anyone know how to switch it
to 16bit or is this already in 386bsd or XFree86 1.2 ?

Thanks,

-Sven
