I've seen a couple of postings from people with problems booting off
the "tiny" bsd floppy, and unfortunately I've not seen responses. Well,
I'm another one with problems :-( .
When booting from the floppy, after maybe 3 minutes or so I get
the banner message, and then, nothing. Zilch. Utter death. The thing
just sits there. The dist.fs I got from agate.berkeley.edu was in
/pub/386BSD/386bsd-0.1/unofficial/patch-kit/
since this was recently announced as incorporating the latest patches.
I copied the files into floppy from a unix machine using "dd":
dd if=dist.fs.pk-0.2 of=/dev/fd0 bs=16
I figure since I got the banner message this step must have been ok. . .
Thanks very much.

PS - my machine has a 386SL in it (it's a laptop), in case it matters
