The net is not a place to conduct training sessions on how to use programs like vi. This is not an instant reaction exchange of information. It takes time to get responses. It eats up bandwidth. If you want to learn how to use a program, you find a book. You don't ask the net. The questions asked were beginner questions, best learned from a book, or having a co-worker sitting down next to you teaching you the ins and outs of vi. The net is a great place for asking those questions about a program that you just can't find in a book. The real deep-seated kind that just rack your brain. -- harvard\ spool.cs.wisc.edu!astroatc!vidiot!brown Vidiot ucbvax!uwvax..........!astroatc!vidiot!brown rutgers/ INTERNET:vidiot!brown%astroatc.UUCP@spool.cs.wisc.edu brown@wi.extrel.com
