I run, besides on the larger tower system, 386bsd without real problems on
a Highscreen 486DX2-50. There were problems with a slow keyboard vs. fast CPU,
these should be fixed now in the latest (ALPHA-)version of codrv.
This notebook has 4MB (soon to be upgraded) and 170MB disk space, which is
fully sufficent even to recompile XFree86.

If anyone has specs about the working of "power down" modes on laptops/notebooks,
one might consider implementing code for that.
