I've specified the nameserver in the resolve.conf file, and the proper ifconfig and route statements are in the netstart files, but domain names remain a problem when specified on the command line using ping, telnet, etc. It will only recognize IP address. I know the nameserver is functioning because I can specify the nameserver IP address on a nslookup command, and it works fine. Any help greatly appreciated. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Crawford KL7JDQ PO Box 804 Tempe, Arizona 85280 InterNet: crawford@enuxhb.eas.asu.edu Vox: +1 602 921 1643 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
