My new 386bsd 0.1 system is unable to do lookups with the local
nameserver. I've specified the nameserver in the resolve.conf file,
and the proper ifconfig and route statements are in the netstart
files, but domain names remain a problem when specified on the command
line using ping, telnet, etc. It will only recognize IP address.
I know the nameserver is functioning because I can specify the
nameserver IP address on a nslookup command, and it works fine.

Any help greatly appreciated.
