Subject: installing 386bsd on 2nd partition: how to?

I am currently trying to install 386bsd on the 2nd partition of my
SCSI harddrive (the 1st partition contains MSDOG). I am using
a AH 1542A (not B!) with the patched dist.fs (0.2.1.) from agate.

The installation never complains, but booting from the harddisk is
not possible: the whole systems freezes. I have tried an identical
machine and only one partition (for bsd) and that works fine.
Am I missing something? Booting the install floppy again gives me
a mountable harddisk, so that does not look too bad. Note that
the messages from the boot code are also not displayed.

Help appreciated

Wilko
