Message-ID: <495@apdnews.idca.tds.philips.nl> Date: 5 Mar 93 16:10:24 GMT Sender: news@idca.tds.philips.nl Organization: Digital Equipment Enterprise bv, Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Lines: 20 I am currently trying to install 386bsd on the 2nd partition of my SCSI harddrive (the 1st partition contains MSDOG). I am using a AH 1542A (not B!) with the patched dist.fs (0.2.1.) from agate. The installation never complains, but booting from the harddisk is not possible: the whole systems freezes. I have tried an identical machine and only one partition (for bsd) and that works fine. Am I missing something? Booting the install floppy again gives me a mountable harddisk, so that does not look too bad. Note that the messages from the boot code are also not displayed.
