I wonder if 386BSD works well with the BusLogic 542A SCSI controller. I have a Adaptec 1542B controller, and are going to buy a Micropolis 1.4GB disk. As far as I know, the BusLogic is gives better disk performance than the Adaptec controller. Are these controllers compatible? Does BusLogic 542A support "fast-SCSI-II", and what is "fast-SCSI-II" really?
