: No! If I read this question properly one PC has 386BSD and the other has
: MS-DROS - hence the use of mwrite.

Sorry,
I thought we're talking about two PCs running 386bsd, in that case you
can newfs the floppy and mount it (no need for mtools).
But since its not the case... sorry.
