If I read this question properly one PC has 386BSD and the other has : MS-DROS - hence the use of mwrite. : If that is the case then just format the floppy under MS-DROS ( or DR-DONT(tm) ) : and mwrite should work fine. De Bonte Sorry, I thought we're talking about two PCs running 386bsd, in that case you can newfs the floppy and mount it (no need for mtools). But since its not the case... sorry. Eilon.
